MAKRINOS: An automated forensic ecosystem that revolutionizes incident management

MAKRINOS automated forensic ecosystem

The growing complexity of the digital threat landscape demands solutions that go beyond traditional defense. In this context, MAKRINOS emerges, a project developed by UTE FRACTALIA BOTECH within the framework of the first Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) call from the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE).

After 33 months of development, the project is established as one of the most relevant advances in forensic cybersecurity and threat intelligence, giving rise to a comprehensive ecosystem based on artificial intelligence capable of anticipating, detecting, and responding to incidents in an automated way.

A complete ecosystem for incident management

MAKRINOS has been designed as a robust platform capable of covering the entire lifecycle of a digital incident, integrating multiple capabilities into a single architecture:

The result is a holistic approach where forensic analysis, prediction, and operational response coexist in an integrated way.

Artificial Intelligence as the system’s engine

One of the key pillars of the project has been the development of artificial intelligence–based engines that enable the understanding and anticipation of hostile behavior:

Anomaly engine capable of identifying unexpected patterns in large data volumes.

Threat engine optimized to provide accurate predictions in complex scenarios.

Explainability engine that generates understandable alerts with up to 90% validated clarity.

Thanks to these engines, the platform not only improves detection but also reduces operational workload and minimizes human error.

Validation in real environments

MAKRINOS has undergone rigorous testing to ensure its effectiveness in real-world scenarios:

These results confirm that it is a mature solution ready for deployment in critical environments.

Automation for a more efficient response

The end-to-end automation of the forensic process has enabled:

Collaborative innovation in cybersecurity

The project has been driven by the UTE Fractalia Ciberalarma – BOTECH, with the collaboration of technology centers such as ITAINNOVA and Funditec, combining research, engineering, and technological validation.

This collaborative model has made it possible to develop a solution aligned with the real security needs of organizations.

A milestone for the future of cybersecurity

MAKRINOS represents a turning point in forensic cybersecurity, demonstrating that the combination of artificial intelligence, advanced automation, and predictive analytics can completely transform incident management.

A strategic solution to strengthen digital resilience in an ever-evolving threat landscape.
