Once again this year, our team participated in Secure Payments, the ideal environment that brought together the main players in the sector in a key space where experiences and new developments were shared and different points of view on payment security were discussed. This edition brought together more than 700 professionals and 70 speakers from the payment ecosystem, digital identity, and financial services.
We share this brief interview with you, in which our CTO, Fernando Carrazón, emphasizes the importance of security in payment methods and of complying with existing regulations, such as the PCI DSS standard, without ever forgetting fraud prevention, detection, and mitigation.
Thanks also to Héctor García, our Lead PCI QSA, who participated in one of the round tables, entitled PAYMENTS REGULATION ROADMAP and moderated by José María Baños, founder of Letslaw, which analyzed the impact of PSD3 and the new Payment Services Regulation on the financial ecosystem to strengthen security, user protection, and competition. It was undoubtedly a talk that aroused great interest and also featured the participation of Fernando Real Postigo, Deputy CIO Iberia, Oney; Verónica Aranda, Lawyer Specialising in Payment Services and Fraud, CaixaBank; and Katia Mesonero Herrera, Technical Advisor to the SG for Sustainable and Digital Finance. D.G. of the Treasury and International Financing, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business.
Thanks to Ifaes for another year of excellent organization and congratulations on the success of #SecurePayments25
